They are inscribable and pretty common from the amount being put up for sale. Wait a while and they will be dirt cheap.

Kinda off-topic but ....
the way ANET is handling the rarity of items is kinda sucking. Face it - many superior runes are worth only 25 gold to the rune trader (minor runes go for more LOL). Most weapon drops (golds) are just merchant bait - even max damage ones. It used to be there was a market for those max damage common skin items - now no-one will buy them.
All that is fine - except it seems to make it pointless to buy keys and lockpicks except to get some stupid title. I mean, why buy a 1500 gold lockpick so that you can get a req 10 dwarven axe drop and then go - meh- I will just merch it cause I dont have the time and it is req 10. I remember when I was excited to see a gold armor pop out of a chest cause superior runes were were something. Now there are almost no sup runes (except vigor) that are worth the price of the key you used to open the chest.
Unfortunately, I think the guild wars economy and level system is broken. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the game and still play way too much. But items like superior runes should be way more valuable minor runes. There should be ways that elite items make you a more powerful player (for example, if damage was calculated based on how much your level exceeded the level of the weapon you are using , so a req 7 max damage sword did more damage than a req 12)
Sorry for the rant - back to the topic at hand .....
I GOT A REQ 10 INSCRIBABLE DWARVEN AXE FROM GW:EN !!!!!!!

Superior runes aren't automatically better, I much prefer the use of minor runes on all but my warrior.
health > 2 points of attributes, in a lot of cases
-
Also, the rune trader prices are defined by how many people buy/sell to them. which is in turn defined by drop rates. The most expensive run there is, is currently Superior Vigor.
Now, I won't ever buy more than minor. I don't see the point of a silly% increase in price for +20 HPs.
Runes prices are fine, imo.

Just wait for II. No effort required freebies, in fact I think that may be the official name; GW2:NERF.
As for Crysts dropping in GW:EN, no big surprise really, I think we all saw that coming. Crys, Dwarvens, SS shields, Plat wands, etc. Apparently ANet decided to run the whole gambit in GW:EN. Personally I think it's silly, but as usual the whining masses who cry the loudest get their way. As the expression goes; "The meek shall inherit the Earth".

This is the last chapter and I thought Anet might introduce some rare weapons or items for us to spend all the money we have saved/farmed/traded/earned etc.
Within 3 days of the preview, there are already quite a few of those so called rare sephis sword, aureate blade etc dropping.
Now that all weapons are going to be common, what are we gonna do with all that money?

minipets
anets self created true high-end market.
since some of the higher end minis are so limited, its tough finding a seller but if you have enough ecto stacks and armbraces they might be willing to part with them.

Well lets see, we have yet to see these Destroyer Weapons which were the only weapons the Monument of Valor would allow you to show off. Still haven't found a use for onyx gemstones or diamonds.

Sad thing really. They keep removing the last of the last rare items from the game...
This must certainly be a GW:EN drop as these didn't exist before. No idea where would it drop though, the end dungeon chests drop only golds/greens. Do they make exceptions for crystallines? Still it's retarded as an inscribable purple is exactly as good as a gold... in the first place making purples possible to be made perfect was a horrible decision at Nightfall release...

That's something that's been bothering me a lot lately. People dye their armour black just to look impressive, even if it looks very bad that colour. In my opinion, Warriors suffer from this most of all. Most of the Warrior armour looks really bad dyed black, yet you constantly see things like the Elite Templar and Gladiator armour black, just because of it's cost..
Seriously people. Black dye should only be used when it actually looks good.

Right, so your the official word on what looks good. Thanks, I'll bear in mind to check with you next time I want to dye something black
Looking forward to seeing destroyer weapons for sure. The creature designs were very cool, imo; Here's hoping the items will be just as sexy <3

Perhaps he/she was stating his/her opinion. This is the second thread I have read where you do nothing but bash people on their posts. Take some of your own advice and keep "your" thread on topic.

Actually read the way it was worded; it comes across as opinion forced as fact, as dunky pointed out.

When it comes to Crystalline swords, in my opinion nothing has changed.
That picture is of a purple crystalline, there's a reason they are so common... they are farmable... sort of.
Crystalline swords only drop from Victory Chests. Victory Chests include the Halls chest, chests that spawn as rewards for completion of quests in Underworld, Fissure of Woe, Sorrows Furnace (yes.. even there) and it makes perfect sense that they would drop from victory chests in those dungeons.
For quite a while, it was possible to do a run through Sorrows Furnace with Killroy Stonekin to farm Purple Crystallines, I assume people still do. Yes it's rare to get one from a victory chest, but when you do lets say 25 runs through Sorrows Furnace a day and there are 5 chests per run... well you do the math.
Until I see proof of someone getting a rare skin such as the Crystalline from a normal locked chest or drop from and enemy kill, I have to assume it's the same as it always has been.
If that is the case, then this will not change anything. Except for the fact these new purples will be inscribable, but since Anet never made Inscribable weapons global when they made Armor Insignias global I expect to see Inscribable weapons made global tonight when GW:EotN goes live.

didnt Wild ask u d-bags not to drop your unwanted opinions in his thread? Ive seen numerous grape 15^50 Crys for sale over last few days. Req 9 gold Legendary Sword popped out of that chest for my guildy. Ive never seen grape but it would seem anything can potentially come out of it. Lets hope non-reskined new hotness drops in 1337 GWEN Dungeon?

I beg to differ , Warlord + Crys or Emblazoned + Crys ftw.
This hardly affects me as I always hated inscribable stuff and only ever buy tyrian stuff for personal use Also, I have come to the conclusion all the playa haters (and I must admit I used to be one) that say crystallines are ugly never had a good one

I've seen your posts in several threads and i must say you display some very scary communist ideas my friend, a big part of playing the game is to aim to buy some rare wep/title/armour to stand out and if you can aquire any skin from a trader, I and I'm sure many others will simply lose the will to play.

I swear that is sooooooooooo true. People are like FOW armour is trash, 1.5k is the best, Cris swords are the uglyness, its all about wings and flams etc.
If FOW armour was 1.5k and Cris were like wingblade cheapness they would be all over them.
Of cause noone would admit it and would deny it.
All that talk about black dye showing off is rubbish. I bought my war 15k glad all black dye, + fellblade and black tall shield as i thought it looked good. Then i got my white pastey nec all white for her fow when it was like 15k each and ghostly staff to go for all white look and it looked awesome imo.
Too many people stating facts as opinions here.
edit: yah cris + warlord is 1337. cris + tall shield is kwl too imo

I am trying to take your post seriously, but considering you have problems comprehending simple sentences I'm not sure I can. Let me make this clear for you.
Player A goes to Lions Arch.
Player A goes to inscription NPC.
Player A pays 1k.
Player A's weapon now has an inscription slot.
Player B's req.8 15^50 perfect old-school crystalline is still perfect.
The end.
